The Chennai Chapter of the International Coaching Federation organised a three-session workshop series to support aspiring coaches in navigating the ICF credentialing process with greater clarity and confidence.
The series brings together three experienced Master Certified Coaches: Deepa Kannan, Founder of DeeKay Excellence; Rekha Hatkanagalekar from Coacharya; and Priya Ramesh, associated with Coacharya and Founder of Orenda.
The first session, held on July 15, 2026, was led by Deepa Kannan and Priya Ramesh and focused on exam preparation. Participants received practical guidance on examination logistics, developing the right mindset and dissecting sample questions to better understand how to approach them thoughtfully and confidently. The interactive format also gave participants the opportunity to raise questions and clarify their concerns directly with the facilitators.
The second session, scheduled for August, will bring together all three Master Certified Coaches and will focus on Performance Evaluation Mentoring. The session is designed to provide participants with guidance and support as they prepare for this important stage of the ICF credentialing process.
The third session has been planned as an open buffer session, allowing participants to revisit topics, seek further clarification and address any remaining questions related to their credentialing journey.
Through practical guidance, shared experiences and interactive discussions, this three-part series aims to equip aspiring coaches with the knowledge, resources and mindset needed to approach the ICF credentialing process successfully.
By creating a supportive space for learning, reflection and open dialogue, the initiative reflects the Chennai Chapter’s commitment to strengthening the coaching community and enabling coaches to move forward in their credentialing journey with greater clarity and confidence. The upcoming sessions will continue to build on this foundation, offering participants meaningful guidance at every stage of the process.
